Emma Hirst

After graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a 2.1 in Interior Architecture and Design in 2022, I am eager to present my work and demonstrate my skills and creative approach to design.

Throughout my academic journey, I have had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects that have allowed me to explore various design styles and concepts. From residential spaces to commercial environments, I have developed a strong understanding of spatial planning, design software's, material selection, colour theory, and lighting design.

 

My portfolio represents the culmination of my education, showcasing my growth as a designer and my ability to transform ideas into captivating visual experiences.

Each project in my portfolio is accompanied by detailed descriptions, explaining the design concept, my thought process, and the solutions implemented. I have included 2D and 3D renderings, floor plans, elevations, and samples of materials and finishes to provide a comprehensive representation of each design.

Additionally, my portfolio highlights my proficiency in utilizing industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and SketchUp. These tools have been instrumental in visualizing and presenting my designs effectively, allowing clients to envision the final result with clarity.
